Stay at home moms, ways to help new stay at home moms!

Being a new mom can be overwhelming. I know that when I was a new mom it was hard for me to tell other people ways they could help me. When you are in that position it is hard to put words to how you are feeling. As a husband, friend, or relative of a new mom you may not know how to help the new mom in your life out. There are suddenly many added pressures such as exhaustion, uncertainty, and a financial strain. Becoming a new mom is one of the most joyful, and emotional experiences! Here are 3 ways to help a new mom.
1. Support
A new mom needs a good support system. She needs to know that there are many people who are there for her should she need them. There to help make a meal, there to do some laundry, there to give good advice, and most of all there to give encouragement. New moms may feel uncertain as to how they are doing, and if they are doing things right. One of the best gifts that was given to me when I was a new mom was a gift certificate to get my hair done. It was so nice that someone thought of something that I would need to feel better about myself. Seeing what the new mom in your life needs is a way of showing your support.
2. Understanding
A new mom needs to feel understood. She needs to know that you understand that the dishes didn't get done because her little one needed her. Or dinner didn't get made because she needed a nap. She also needs the people surrounding her to understand that she is dealing with new emotions. The way that you can show that you are understanding her is by letting her know that her feelings and actions are justified. Of course she is tired, and yes she does need to take a nap. Or, you would love to pick up dinner, what would she like?
3. A way to make money from home
I believe that once a new mom holds her baby, the last thing she wants to do is leave it. In this time where it is very difficult for families to live on one income new moms are taking their short maternity leave, finding daycare for their babies and heading back to the work place. Some moms love their jobs and wouldn't have it any other way. But, some moms have a deep desire to be able to stay home with their babies. So the question is, can moms make money from home? What kind of business can you run from home? When moms learn how to use the internet they can run any business successfully from home.

Feel Worthy at Being a Stay at Home Mom, Are Paid Surveys the Way?

I think that moms everywhere would agree that there is nothing more important than family and children. If that is true, then why do moms struggle with feeling worthy at being a stay at home mom? Maybe because doing laundry, cleaning floors, and wiping noses are not very glamorous tasks and they do not come with compensation.
As a mom who stays home I know that I have struggled with feeling worthy while being a stay at home mom. This has resulted in hours of searching the Internet for ways that I can help out from home financially. If you are searching the Internet for a way to make money on-line you know that there are advertisements everywhere telling you one way or another that you can succeed financially. One of the ways that I tried was paid surveys. Paid Surveys, Mystery Shopping, and Paid e-mails are not all scams. There are benefits to trying these methods to feel worthy while being a stay at home mom.
Some benefits are; receiving free items, getting entered in drawings to win sums of money, and earning a few dollars.
When I first started taking paid surveys I had a toddler. Through some of the survey opportunities I received free wipes, formula, and childrens books. I also brought in a few dollars here and there, but I was taking surveys through so many different companies and they all had different payment plans. Often the company wouldn't send you a check until you had reached a certain dollar amount. In the months I took paid surveys I never reached that goal amount, and never received a check.
I found that the hassles that came with working through these means outweighed the benefits.
First, you often have to meet certain requirements to take surveys. If you are not the right age or gender you may not qualify to take a certain survey. Not to mention that you have to take a pre-survey to find out if you are eligible for the paid one.
Also, there are MANY Paid Survey, Mystery Shopping, and Paid E-mail companies out there. You have to do your research to find out which ones are legitimate. This takes valuable time, and sometimes money.
In order to succeed with paid surveys you will have to set up a separate e-mail account that will soon be bombarded with SPAM. So every day you must be prepared to wade through many e-mails as you decide which opportunities are worth your while.
In my searching I have found that Internet Marketing, not paid surveys, is a way for me to feel worthy while being a stay at home mom and earn a significant income. Whether you have an existing business, a business in mind that you want to start, or are open to learning a new business the Internet is the place for moms to help out financially from home. There is a great debate among moms today that is centered around the question of staying home vs. going to work. What is better for our kids? What is better for us, as moms? There are pros and cons to both sides of the debate. Moms who choose to stay home get to be with their children. They may have more time to volunteer, and maybe keep a tidier home. Where as moms who work outside are using their education and getting encouragement from co-workers as well as bringing home a paycheck.

Moms are feeling the pressure to be the best at work and at home. So can moms have it all? Can they volunteer, invest in their kids, feel good about themselves, and bring home a paycheck? Yes. Direct Selling Opportunities to Women

For women who want to work from home direct sales has been the way to go for the last 50 years. From Avon to Mary Kay or Pampered Chef to Party Lite there seems to be endless possibilities for women to sell to women. When you sign up with one of these direct sales companies you also sign up for home parties, inventory, and selling to your friends. So the question is, are there direct selling opportunities for women that don't include all these things? With the onset of the Internet I believe there are! Here is how the Internet helps us get around these 3 things.

No More selling to Friends. I do not want to be seen as the lady who is selling such and such. My business is not who I am, my business is something I do so that I am able to do what I want to do. In direct sales they teach you to tell everyone you know, multiple times, about your business and your product. Where I agree that people need to hear something many times so they have all the information to make a design I do not agree with the harassing my friends philosophy. With the Internet you have the opportunity to tell people all around the world about your business multiple times through venues like facebook and twitter among other things. If those people don't like what your selling, no sweat! There are new people all the time who are searching for what you have to offer. I have a lot of friends, but I will run out of those before I run out of people searching for my product online.

No More inventory. A lot of direct sales companies like Melalueca, Arbonne and Pampered Chef have it set up so that you do not have to have inventory in your home. It is all done online. This makes direct selling via the Internet a viable and even easy option. When you have someone from another country who is interested in your product, you can then send them to a web page to get more information, or to sign up. Often they can then shop online as well.

No More Home Parties or out of home meetings. This is my favorite part of using the Internet. When searching for a way to make money from home I found that a lot of direct sales companies say they are good for stay at home moms, but they really don't make it possible to stay at home. You must make appointments to have meetings, have parties at your house or other peoples, and go to big training seminars on the weekends. When using the Internet in accordance with direct market selling all of the contact is made from your home.

There are direct selling opportunities for women found completely online. It is time for women to know that these are real, legitimate work from home business opportunities that are completely that, work from home. If you are looking for a business like I was, or if you are currently in direct sales and you want to learn how to use the customer base of the World Wide Web then your next step is to visit http://www.stephaniempage.com, put in your name and e-mail and then watch videos #2 and #3 on the next page to learn how to do just that!
